FIDF North Texas Gala to Resume In-Person in December

Today, Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) announced that its 2021 North Texas Chapter Gala, themed “ONE”, will be held in person on Thursday, December 2, at Frontiers of Flight Museum, Dallas.

Some 300 community leaders are expected to attend the event. Mr. Ari Susman, a longtime supporter of FIDF North Texas Chapter, will be the event’s Honoree.

While the size of the event will depend on the state’s Covid-19 safety guidelines at that time, FIDF believes that by this fall, many of North Texas’s business leaders and philanthropists will be able to gather at Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas to salute Israel’s brave soldiers and veterans. More information about the program will be shared in the coming weeks.

“Covid hit just 2 months after the launch of our North Texas Chapter Launch Celebration, an event that was sold out just 2 weeks after promotion. One year has passed after a very difficult time for our Jewish world, but we still successfully raised over $2.5 million for the wellbeing of our brave young IDF soldiers,” said FIDF Regional Director of North Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, Kathi Ravkind Sebastian. “North Texas donors have proven to be loyal to Israel’s next generation of leaders, and our 2021 event will just be another opportunity to show their very valuable support.”

In addition, FIDF has also announced the return to in-person delegations to Israel starting in October. Upcoming FIDF delegations to Israel include the FIDF Ride Israel (October 30 – November 5, 2021), the FIDF Chairman’s Leadership Mission (November 12-19, 2021) and the “From Holocaust to Independence” Mission to Poland and Israel (April 28 – May 6, 2022).
